Have you ever wondered how your food gets from the farm to your dinner table? You can find out on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Iowa State Fair! Join Iowa farmers for conversations about food, family and farming while you enjoy a special four-course meal of local foods grown by Iowa’s farmers and crafted by three notable Iowa chefs. Tell us why you want a seat at the table by July 15, 2024. Fair admission is included and 100 lucky winners will be selected at random to win a pair of tickets each.

1st Course:

Ground turkey and egg fried rice

2nd Course:

Chef Aaron Holt, Owner and Operator of Catering by Doolittle Farm, Story City

Italian pork meatballs with creamy herbed corn polenta and apple cider reduction

3rd Course:

Chef Jacob Schroeder, Moxie Kitchen + Events, Des Moines

Flank steak and tofu skewer with truffled chili crisp aioli and ginger pickled edamame

Dessert:

Picket Fence Creamery and Early Morning Harvest

Very berry and chocolate ice cream topped with Iowa-made granola
