The Iowa State Fair Campgrounds are open.
Although there are numerous hotels and motels in the area some event organizers and guests prefer taking advantage of our 160-acre campsite. There are plenty of campsites available now with country comforts alongside city conveniences. Campers enjoy the best of both worlds — the natural beauty of gently rolling woodlands plus the modern amenities of water and electrical hookups. Best of all, campers will find themselves a short stroll away from the many buildings that dot the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Our campgrounds’ staff is ready to make your stay safe, comfortable and economical. To learn more about camping during the off-season call the Iowa State Fair Campgrounds office at 515.262.3111 ext. 221 or visit the Iowa State Fairgrounds website.
