Concrete Statues
Each year, the concrete statues are a popular favorite with unique designs and true artistry. Professionals and novice competitions highlight the people and places in Iowa through the sculptures each year.
Past sculptures have included an elephant, pig, cow, horse, ice cream cone, Ferris wheel, state of Iowa, Iowa State Fair logo, blue ribbon and camper.
The 2024 sculpture is a bushel basket of corn and an ear of corn. Very symbolic of agriculture and iconic to the importance of corn in Iowa.
