State Fair Yodeling Awards Won

The Alpine-inspired vocal stylings of both Jay Mac Eachern of Wapello and Annie Clements of Franklin, TN, impressed the judges, who awarded them both first place in the Yodeling competition judged Thursday at the 2023 Iowa State Fair.

Chuck Utech of Ankeny claimed second place.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
