Dulcet Tones Win Fair Children’s Singing Awards

Adrian Green of Brighton won first place in the Children’s Singing competition, judged Thursday, August 15, at the 202 Iowa State Fair.

Ruby Carl of Urbandale earned second place and Claire Quint of Ryan claimed third place.

The contest was part of “Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions” in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
