Alan Jackson
Throughout a successful career spanning over two decades, Alan Jackson has produced 24 number-one hit songs, 12 platinum albums and dozens of popular singles like “Don’t Rock the Juke Box,” “Chattahoochie” and “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere.” With over 15 CMA awards, including three for Entertainer of the Year, 14 awards from the Academy of Country Music and two Grammy awards, Jackson has become one of the most decorated country artists of all time.
From his small-town upbringing in Georgia to performances at the Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall, Jackson has established himself as a country music legend. His authentic lyrics and connection to traditional country roots helped him produce anthems like “Remember When,” “Where I Come From,” “Small Town Southern Man” and “As She’s Walking Away,” the result of a 2011 collaboration with Zac Brown.
Jackson’s tribute to the 9/11 attacks in New York City, “Where Were You,” received a standing ovation when he debuted it at the 2001 CMA awards. The song continues to resonate with fans today and has received wide media attention, including its 2011 performance at the Washington National Cathedral commemorating the tenth anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks. Jackson is currently celebrating the success of his fifteenth studio album,Thirty Miles West, which topped the country chart when it was released in June. The album features the Grammy-nominated song, “So You Don’t Have to Love Me Anymore.”
Gary Allan
Since the release of his debut album in 1996, Gary Allan has amassed four gold and three platinum albums as well as 26 singles on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Charts. With number-one hits like “Nothing on but the Radio” and “Man to Man” as well as other top-ten numbers like “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful” and “Watching Airplanes,” Allan has solidified a loyal fan-following that spans nearly twenty years. His most recent chart-topper, “Every Storm,” has spent six months on Billboard’s hot country chart, including a week at number-one.
The California-born singer began his musical career early on, playing the local club circuit as a high school student. In 1996, Allan made a splash on the country music scene with the release of his single “Her Man,” the lead-off to his gold-certified debut album, Used Heart for Sale. His 1999 album, Smoke Rings in the Dark, was the first platinum album of his career. Since then, he has released two more platinum albums as well as two gold-certified records.
Allan's ten studio albums and his greatest hits package have produced hit song after hit song, including “Tough Little Boys,” “Today” and “Best I Ever Had.” His unique sound and commitment to traditional country roots continue to resonate with his ever-growing fan base.
