Winners Find the Best Way to Call Their Husbands

Bonnie Swalwell Eibert of Newton took first place in the Husband Calling contest that took place Friday, August 18, at the 2023 Iowa State Fair.

Virginia Stone of Waukee took second, and Rose Beauregard of Center Point took third place.

The contest was part of “Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions” in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
