Homemakers Furniture Grandstand Concert Series - Kum & Go Stage
Just in time for Valentine's Day, two more big acts are announced for the Iowa State Fair Grandstand stage. With love songs like "Proud of the House We Built" and "Ain't Nothing 'Bout You" to their credit, country music duo Brooks & Dunn with special guest Alex Miller are set to perform Friday, August 12, 2022. Grammy-winning artist Nelly sings all about love with R&B hits like "Dilemma," "One & Only" and 2002's top song, "Hot in Herre." Special guest Ginuwine has albums Love You More and Last Chance to his credit. The R&B legends will take the stage Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Brooks & Dunn first performed in the early 90s as an opener for country greats like Randy Travis, Lee Roy Parnell, Faith Hill and Trace Adkins. Now a main stage act, they have climbed the country music charts with 23 career chart toppers and 30 million albums sold. Artists Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn make up the best-selling country music duo in country music history. It has been over 12 years since they have performed at the Iowa State Fair. Launched from American Idol, Season 19, special guest Alex Miller is a torch-carrying champion of traditional country music. At 6'6" he looks young, but his voice captures the seasoned sounds of country legends.
Cornell "Nelly" Hayes is the second highest selling hip hop artist of all times. He has sold over thirty-five million records world-wide and been awarded three American Music Awards, four number one albums, five number one singles and three Grammys. 2022 will be his FIRST time performing at the Iowa State Fair. With 10 years in the game and 10 million albums sold, R&B artist Ginuwine is as hungry as ever, yet grateful for what he's accomplished. In 2021, Ginuwine received the Urban Music Icon Award at the Black Music Honors.
