Perfect your pie baking skills with a Pie Basics Baking Class in The Kitchen on the Iowa State Fairgrounds on March 19. Dianna Sheehy has entered Iowa State Fair food competitions since 1975 and has been a judge for the past 15 years. In 1989, Dianna received second place in the Crisco National Pie Championships representing Iowa.

On March 19, Dianna will teach the basics on preparing a pie crust and how to perfect the fruit filling. The class is limited to 30 participants, so sign up today!

*Class includes step-by-step instruction and a take-home completed two-crust fruit pie.

Participants must bring their own 9" glass pie plate and rolling pin; a crimper is optional.
