The Kitchen at the Iowa State Fairgrounds

Maybe you're looking for a sweet treat or trying to find a warm mug of hot cocoa to escape the next Iowa cold snap? Cocoa bombs put a whole new spin on your classic cup of hot chocolate, and this January in The Kitchen on the Iowa State Fairgrounds, you can learn to make your own! Two instructor-led Cocoa Bomb Making Classes will be offered on January 19th and January 21st.

Classes include step-by-step instruction and a complete kit with silicon molds and brush, as well as all the ingredients to make three bombs: a white chocolate, a milk chocolate and a pink chocolate cocoa bomb to take home. This class is open to adults and children of any skill level.

In November, a turkey baking class was held and in December charcuterie wreath classes were held. Look for new and interactive classes for any and all skill levels in The Kitchen through April 2023.
