Get those 2013 Fair tickets now! You can print your tickets at home or chose to have them mailed to you (a 5% processing fee applies). Now through August 7, take advantage of our advanced ticket pricing:
- Adults (Ages 12+): $8 ($11 at the Gate)
- Children (Ages 6-11): $4 ($5 at the Gate)
- Children (Ages 5 & Under): FREE
Three Ways to Purchase:
- Purchase tickets online and print them at home. See our ticket printing guide for print-at-home instructions.
- Purchase tickets online and have them mailed to you (a 5% processing fee applies). Tickets can also be purchased at the Administration Building on the Fairgrounds between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
- Purchase them in-person. Beginning approximately July 1 through August 7, admission tickets will be available at participating Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Drugstores, Dahl's Foods and Fareway stores (without fees). Tickets can also be purchased at the State Fair Ticket Office starting July 8.
Enjoy an even bigger benefit when buying early: advance admission tickets have a coupon for a free small Potato Olé® with purchase at participating Iowa-area Taco John’s restaurants. Coupon expires 9/30/13. See store for details.
Punch Cards
Buy your punch cards now to take advantage of the advanced discounted rate! These convenient punch cards come with 11 days of adult Fair admission for just $88. Each punch is good for one admission to the Fair. Cards may be used by individuals or families. Punch cards must be purchased by August 7.

Fair Play Packs
These value-packed kits offer discounts on admission, food and select rides. Order online and Fair Play Packs will be mailed to you (a 5% processing fee applies). Fair Play Packs may also be purchased at the State Fair Ticket Office beginning July 8. Available while supplies last. Must be purchased by August 7.
Ages 5 and Under - $15 (up to a $24 value)*
- 1 Giant Slide or Ye Old Mill ride

Food Tickets
Food tickets can be purchased in packs of five for $5. Each food ticket is good for $1 toward food or beverage purchase on the Fairgrounds (not valid in the Midway). Order online and food tickets will be mailed to you (a 5% processing fee applies). Food tickets may also be purchased at the State Fair Ticket Office beginning July 8. Available while supplies last.
Tickets must be used for all food and beverage purchases in the Grandstand. Additional tickets may be purchased inside the Grandstand as well.
Midway
Order online and tickets will be mailed to you (a 5% processing fee applies), or purchase at the State Fair Ticket Office beginning July 8. Available while supplies last. Must be purchased by August 7.
Midway Play Packs
Midway Play Packs are $14 and include a set of five Midway ride tickets. Each ticket is good for one ride.
Midway Mega Passes
Purchase a Midway Mega Pass and enjoy unlimited rides for any one Fair day. Midway Mega Passes do not include admission to the Fair. Gate admission must be purchased separately.
- Weekday Midway Mega Pass (Monday-Friday): $25
- Any Day Midway Mega Pass (Good Any One Fair Day - Including Weekends): $30
Iowa State Fair Zipline
Purchase your Iowa State Fair Zipline tickets now and save! Tickets are sold in packs of two for $10. Riders must weigh between 50 and 250 lbs. Order online and tickets will be mailed to you (a 5% processing fee applies), or purchase them at the State Fair Ticket Office beginning July 8. Available while supplies last.
