Husband Calling Contest

Dawn M Mennear of Des Moines took first place in the Husband Calling contest that took place Friday, August 19, at the 2022 Iowa State Fair.

Virginia Stone of Waukee took second.

Dorothy Knox of Cedarfield and Cammie Pohl of Davenport tied for third place.

The contest was part of “Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions” in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
