FFA Meat Goat Exhibitors Win Awards

Two hundred seventy-one meat goats were shown in the FFA Market and Breeding Meat Goat Shows at the 2020 Fair Special Edition Livestock Show held August 14 and 15 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Reserve Champion Market Goat: Joseph Herr, Nodaway Valley FFA (Fontanelle)

Champion Percentage Does: Tanner Curtin, Williamsburg FFA (Oxford)
Reserve Champion Percentage Does: Kamryn Meyer, Wilton FFA (Wilton)

Champion Full Blood Buck: Kole McNeer, Southeast Polk FFA (Runnells)
Reserve Champion Full Blood Buck: Audrey Smith, Harmony/Van Buren FFA (Keosauqua)


The Iowa State Fair is the single largest event in the state of Iowa and one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country. Because of safety and health concerns, the 2020 Iowa State Fair has been postponed until August 12-22, 2021.
