Boone Resident Wins Iowa State Fair Harmonica Title

Chris Myers of Boone won first place in the adult division of the Harmonica competition judged Monday at the 2017 Iowa State Fair.
Francis Schiebout of Pella claimed second place and Russ Wright of Humeston earned third place.
In the youth division, Ava Carr of Ankeny won first place.
The contest was part of “Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions” in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
