Bloomfield Pumpkin Claims Iowa State Fair Big Pumpkin Title

The giant pumpkin grown by Dave Davis of Bloomfield bested the competition in the Big Pumpkin contest judged Friday at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.
The 795-pound pumpkin collected $1,900 in prize money.
Jackie Davis from Bloomfield claimed second place and $850 with a pumpkin weighing in at 717 lbs.
John VanUtrecht of Ottumwa earned third place and $500 with a 606 pound entry.
