    Newsboys

Since the Newsboys’ first album release in 1988, the contemporary Christian artists have recorded 31 number-one hits, earned five Dove awards and received several Grammy nominations. In nearly three decades, they have sold over six million records filled with inspirational songs like “Entertaining Angels,” “Million Pieces,” “It Is You” and “God Is Not Dead.”

Originally from Australia, the band found success in America in 1994 with their first gold-certified album, Going Public, which featured four number-one hits including their breakthrough single, “Shine.” The band followed up their initial success with the release of another five number-one hits on their 1996 album, Take Me to Your Leader, including “Reality” and the album’s title track. More hits followed with the release of an additional six albums over the next decade including the 2003 release of “He Reigns,” which peaked at number-one for an impressive ten consecutive weeks.

Newsboys continues to enjoy success with the release of their last three, number-one albums including Born Again, God Is Not Dead and Restart. The group appeared in the 2014 Pure Flix hit, “God’s Not Dead,” and is enjoying the success of their most recent album, Hallelujah for the Cross, which marks their first-ever collection of hymns.

    Francesca Battistelli

Born in New York City, but raised in Florida, Francesca Battistelli grew up in a musical family. When she was just 15, she was a member of an all-girl mainstream pop group in Orlando. After the group disbanded, Francesca picked up a guitar and started writing her own songs.

In 2008, Francesca released her debut album, My Paper Heart, which featured popular tunes such as, “I’m Letting Go,” “Free To Be Me,” “It’s Your Life,” and “Beautiful, Beautiful.” The album helped win her a Gospel Music Association Dove award for “Female Vocalist of the Year.”

By the time her second album, Hundred More Years, was released, Battistelli was already an established star in the Christian music world. Hundred More Years would prove to be a considerable success, another number one album on the Christian chart, and a Top Twenty success on the pop charts as well.  Battistelli’s most recent album, If We’re Honest, in 2014, garnering number one hits such as “Write Your Story,” “He Knows My Name,” and “Holy Spirit.”
