Chevelle and Halestorm
Alternative hard rock trio Chevelle has earned a loyal and infectious fan following with their underdog spirit and patented airtight anthems. In just 15 years in the music industry, the Chicago natives have released six studio albums and a dozen top-twenty singles including “Jars,” “Letter from a Thief” and “I Get It.”
Brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler released the band’s first independent album in 1999 before signing with Epic Records to release their 2002 platinum album, Wonder What’s Next. Their sophomore effort produced the top-ten hit, “The Red,” followed by the trio’s first number-one single, “Send the Pain Below.” The 2004 release of This Type of Thinking enjoyed similar success with the top-ten singles, “Vitamin R” and “The Clincher.”
The group’s 2011 release earned two more chart toppers with “Face to the Floor” and “Hats Off to the Bull” as well as the top-ten hit, “Same Old Trip.” The band’s most recent single, “Take out the Gunman,” comes off their seventh studio album, La Gargola, released earlier this year.
Grammy Award-winning hard rock artists Halestorm have built their loyal fan base through poignant rock anthems filled with uncompromising rhythms, soaring vocals and searing leads. In just under a decade, the hard-hitting rockers have produced six top-twenty hits including “It’s Not You,” “Here’s to Us” and “I Miss the Misery.”
After signing with Atlantic Records in 2005, the group released their first EP, One and Done, a fan favorite which earned them prime tour spots alongside rock greats like Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman and Evanescence. The release of their first full-length album in 2009 produced their first top-ten hit single, “I Get Off,” as well as “Familiar Taste of Poison” and “Bet You Wish You Had Me Back.”
The band’s most recent release, The Strange Case Of…, debuted at number-one and yielded another crop of hits including “Freak like Me,” “Ms. Hyde” and the Grammy Award-winning number-one hit single, “Love Bites.”
Saville Row began in 2011 when Troy Luccketta, drummer for rock band, Tesla, introduced Mika Greiner, former lead singer of the West Coast band, Redline 5, to Marc Bonilla, a prominent guitarist and composer in the L.A. music scene. Marc and Mika began writing material in between television and movie projects and brought in Troy to handle drums and assist with the recording process. The trio was now ready to expand to a full band and needed to recruit a fourth member to complete the line-up. After an exhaustive search, they found bassist, Travis Davis.
The band’s most recent single, “Last Goodbye,” has been featured twice on the hit show, Justified. The band has also been featured on the NBC hit show, Las Vegas, with their ballad, “Hard to Let Go.” The rockers are currently celebrating the completion of their debut album, The Way Around It, set for release in August.
