Mama Lou is the only performing strong woman in the Northern Hemisphere. Watch as her performance includes feats of strength, comedy and a strong, feel-good message. Mama crushes apples with her biceps, drives nails through wood with a bare fist and rips entire telephone books in half! Her blend of comedy and audience participation will entice audiences of all ages. 

Richard Renner is a goofy garbage man who will show you how to REduce, REuse and REcycle in a REdiculous way. He leads you through an educational performance with crazy inventions, circus arts, music and interactive games. Audiences will be amazed as trash becomes another resource in his hands. Everything ends up in the latest invention, the Recyclinator, and the outcome is always something surprising. 

VSA Iowa has been a staple at the Iowa State Fair for over 30 years, drawing thousands of people to see their talented and fun performers. VSA Iowa strives to create a society where people with disabilities learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts. All the performances at Fun Forest will be ASL interpreted, courtesy of Deaf Action Center and the Iowa State Fair. VSA Iowa is the biggest VSA festival in the world.
