  • Coming back from a hard season in life, The Afters are holding on to their faith and their passion for making music. Their new album, “Light Up the Sky,” is spoken from the heart and stems from hardship, perspective and a reprioritized set of values. The accessible album is filled with layered harmonies and nuances, a more pop sound that departs from the band’s grunge rock debut. Hit songs like “Lift Me Up” and “I Am Yours” reaffirm the band members’ faith and the source of their strength; while tracks like, “Start Over” and “For the First Time” showcase their theme of rebirth.
