Nominated for three Grammy Awards, Pat Green has released three top ten records and a total of nine top-forty singles such as “Wave on Wave” and “Feels Just Like It Should.” Known for his rowdy live shows, he has toured with big-name artists such as Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Dave Matthews Band.
Green began writing music at age 18 and performed his songs at small bars and clubs around Lubbock, where he was attending Texas Tech University. In 1995, Green began producing a string of independent albums and by 1997 he was ready to seriously pursue a career in country music. He recently released his latest album, “Cannonball.”
Soon after, Green landed a spot touring with Willie Nelson. Three years later, he had sold a quarter of a million records without the help of a major-label record contract. In 2001, Green released his next album, “Three Days.” His first hit single, “Wave on Wave,” was the title track on his second record and landed at number three on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The album went on to sell more than half a million copies. |
