From Burt, Iowa comes accomplished vocalist Denise Shipler. Showcasing her range of talent from country to gospel, Shipler has released two albums, is a regularly featured performer at the Variety Club telethon and also has entertained internationally with the Variety Club network.

Having a congenital physical condition of missing several of her limbs, Shipler often shares some of her life’s challenges. She has learned to approach that life with gratitude and humor. Her message is that most of us have some kind of disability, visible or invisible, but that we are “more alike than different.”

VSA of Iowa hosts the largest festival of its kind at the Iowa State Fair, now in its 30th year at the Fair.

Steve Trash is a world-class magician with a green twist.  Featured on programs like CBS This Morning and ESPN Outdoors and VH1, Steve Trash - Rockin' Eco Hero - is fun, funny and magical. Whether it’s making trash disappear or recycling an aluminum can right on stage, Steve puts the audience at the center of the action. He’s been taking his show on the road for over 20 years, proving he was green way before green was cool.

The Rhinestone Roper Dan Mink thrills audiences with award-winning trick roping, knife throwing, bullwhip cracking, gun spinning and quick draw shooting. And of course no one can resist the magical charm of Lucky Joe the Trick Horse! The pair has appeared on network T.V. shows, including 30 Seconds to Fame, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Wife Swap. Dan is the 2007 World Champion Gun Spinner, the 2005 Recipient of the Joe Bowman Showmanship award for gun handling and a two-time inductee to the International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame. Lucky Joe is the only horse known to balance himself upside down. Audiences will be pulled into the excitement of this high-action Wild West Show.
