Singer/songwriter Drew Seeley is no stranger to performing. In addition to launching his own solo music career and forthcoming debut album, Seeley garnered an Emmy nomination for “Getcha Head in the Game,” which he co-wrote for Disney’s quadruple platinum High School Musical soundtrack. He also co-starred in the North America and Latin America tours of “High School Musical: The Concert” and can most recently be seen in Another Cinderella Story where he stars as pop star Joey Parker opposite Selena Gomez. In addition to his starring role, Drew also wrote and performs 4 songs in the film.

Seeley’s song and video “Dance with Me”, from the platinum Cheetah Girls 2 soundtrack, can be seen on the Disney Channel and he also appeared in Belinda Peregrin’s music video “Ni Freud, Ni Tu Mama.” He also wrote and performed music for the Disney Channel Original Movie “Jump In!” starring Corbin Bleu.

Based in Sioux City, Iowa, Rockestra is America's only professional rock and roll orchestra. The high-energy 40-piece group pairs strings, brass and woodwinds with drum sets, electric guitars and powerful vocals for a sound all their own. Making their Iowa State Fair debut, Rockestra plays classic hits from many musical eras, complete with costume changes and theatrical antics. Audiences have never heard an orchestra like this!

After spending ten years as a performer and show designer for Walt Disney Productions and receiving degrees in psychology and sociology, master magician, illusionist and hypnotist Ron Diamond decided it was time to fulfill his dreams and put together the ultimate hypnotism show. With an advanced certification and a practice in hypnotherapy, Diamond intrigues his audiences with his impeccable sense of timing and humor and his expertise of the magic of the mind. Diamond brings his experience and talent to all of his presentations, making each and every show unique and entertaining.

The smash hit returns! Vocal Trash combines street instruments and vocal harmonies to deliver entertainment that the whole family can enjoy. This five-piece band from Texas performs oldies and rock ‘n’ roll with a contemporary beat. This group is often considered a unique blend of the popular drum act “Stomp” with an a cappella vocal style. Band member Bruce Brock says simply, “It’s all about fun.”

Bill Riley All-Star Show

August 22, 7 p.m.

Celebrating the 50th year of the Bill Riley Talent Search, top acts from previous years return to take the stage in for an evening of fabulous entertainment. Internationally-acclaimed opera singer Simon Estes will headline the all-star show.

Estes, a Centerville native and long-time friend of Bill Riley Sr., sang on Riley’s KRNT radio show in 1951, prior to the official start of the Talent Search. Ten additional champion acts are set to perform, including acts dating back to the early 1960s and reigning champions The Offbeats.

Crossing genres from Christian to Latin to pop, Jaci Velasquez’s successful career includes 16 number one Christian radio hits and over 3.5 million albums sold. Her top hits include “On My Knees” and “Llegar A Ti.” In addition to numerous Latin and English Grammy nominations, she’s won six Dove Awards, an El Premio Lo Nuestro Award for New Artist of the Year and a Latin Billboard Female Pop Album of the Year Award.

Raised in Houston, Texas, Velasquez began her singing career at age nine and made her first album at 14. Twelve albums and 14 years later, she now owns her own record company, Apostrophe Records, and has appeared on over 50 magazine covers and in ad campaigns for Doritos, Pepsi, Target, Frizz-Ease, and Helzberg Diamonds. Her most recent album includes an upbeat anthem about her newfound happiness in life, a serious song reflecting on her strained relationship with her father after her parents’ divorce, a beautiful Spanish duet with her husband Nic Gonzales, and worshipful songs about finding a deeper relationship with God.
