Urbandale Woman Takes Top Honors in State Fair Sewing Competition

Lara Newsom of Urbandale was awarded Best of Show honors in the Fabric and Threads Sewing for the Home contest judged prior to the start of the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Sweepstakes honors were awarded to Jan Dehamer of Urbandale.
Winning entries in the Fabric and Threads department are on display every day of the Fair from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building sponsored by Principal Financial Group.
