Sprouting Success in State Fair Floriculture Competition

The state's youngest gardeners turned flowers into ribbons in the Junior and Intermediate Floriculture competitions judged Thursday at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Floriculture exhibits are on display from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the John Deere Agriculture Building sponsored by Alliant Energy.
