Red Oak Man Claims State Fair Dutch Cooking Ribbon

Mark McCaffrey of Red Oak won Second Place Overall in the Dutch Oven Cooking competition judged Saturday at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
His Cream of the Crop Cornbread received the top prize handed out by judges as well as second place in the Side Dish class.
The Iowa State Fair Food Department is the largest of any state fair in the country. Food Department judging is held in the recently-renovated Elwell Family Food Center sponsored by Blue Bunny.
