Marchmasters Win Top Honor in State Fair Parade

The West Des Moines Valley High School Marchmasters won the Governor’s Cup as the top marching band in the 2011 Iowa State Fair Parade, held Wednesday evening, prior to the start of the Fair.
In the 4A bands category, Cedar Falls High School won top honors and Dallas Center Grimes High School earned the top spot among the 2A bands.
The Isiserettes Drill and Drum Corps won first place in the Drum Line competition.
