Amy Fuson of Indianola won the First Place Overall title in the Nostalgic Comfort Food competition judged Monday at the 2012 Iowa State Fair.
Second Place Overall was awarded to Alexa Schmaltz of Des Moines, and Deanna Smith of Des Moines took Third Place Overall.
Cheryl Rogers of Ames received the Most Nostalgic Presentation award.

The Iowa State Fair Food Department is the largest of any state fair in the country. Food Department judging is held in the Elwell Family Food Center sponsored by Blue Bunny.
