Milo Dairy Farm Earns Top Honors In Iowa State Fair Milking Shorthorn Show

Byers Dairy Farm of Milo took home both Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder honors in the Milking Shorthhorn Dairy Cattle show at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
The Grand Champion Female was shown by Lands-Brook Farms of St. Olaf, and the Roth family of Milford, Neb., earned the Reserve Grand Champion Female banner.
Lands-Brook Farms was runner-up to Byers Dairy Farm for both the Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder awards in the show.
The Premier Breeder Award is given to the competitor that earns the most points for animals bred and exhibited by the entrant or others during the day’s show. The Premier Exhibitor Award is given to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points based upon the day’s placings.
