Judges Weed Out the Competition in Weed Identification Contest at State Fair

Iowans tested their knowledge of pesky garden plants in the Weed Identification contest judged Friday at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Maggie Steinkamp of Wall Lake took first place in the Youth category while Terri Larson of Stratford earned the blue ribbon in the General category. In the Professional category, Dave Kraushaar of Hull earned the blue ribbon.
