Iowa’s Best Awarded at State Fair Duroc Show

Stewarts Duroc Farm of Waverly exhibited the Champion Gilt in the Duroc Swine Show August 18 at the 2011 Iowa State Fair. Reserve Champion honors went to Mike Ehlers of Denison.
Greg Ruppert Durocs of Des Moines captured the Champion Boar banner while Eggers and Sampson Showpigs or State Center claimed Reserve Champion honors.
Premier Exhibitor honors went to Matt and Tom Welk of Letts. The award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
