Kale Spengler of Durant exhibited the Supreme Female Champion in the FFA Breeding Beef Show held Thursday at the 2012 Iowa State Fair.
Spengler’s entry was also named Champion Appendix Maine-Anjou Heifer. The commercial heifer belonging to Parker Frey of Earlham earned the Reserve Supreme Female title.
The Supreme Pair was shown by Chandler Luzum of Fort Atkinson, and the Reserve Supreme Pair title went to the Champion Crossbred cow-calf owned by Alexandra Hunter of DeWitt.
Chance Wiese of Manning showed the Supreme Bull, who also topped the All Other Breeds category. The Reserve Supreme Bull was an Angus bull shown by Erin Steele of Anita.
