Council Bluffs Man Wins State Fair Chili Contest

Mark Garner of Council Bluffs took first place in the Chili Cook Off contest August 20 at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Mark Allen of Johnston placed second and Mark Patterson of West Des Moines earned third.
The Iowa State Fair Food Department is the largest of any state fair in the country. Food Department judging is held in the Elwell Family Food Center sponsored by Blue Bunny.
