Competitors Showcase Weaving Talents at Iowa State Fair

Top weavers won honors in the Fabric and Threads Weaving contest held prior to the start of the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Vicki Tardy of Iowa City received the Best of Show award, and Deborah Zeitler of Iowa City took Sweepstakes honors for the third year in a row, impressing judges with her entries in all competitive weaving classes.
Winning entries in the Fabric and Threads department are on display every day of the Fair from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building sponsored by Principal Financial Group.
