Carol Leslie of Longmont, Co., took top honors in the Floriculture Color Division contest judged Thursday at the 2012 Iowa State Fair. Second place went to Betty Schultz of Greenfield.
The contest asks entrants to create a design using fresh plant material in a container.
Floriculture exhibits are on display throughout the Fair from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in theJohnDeereAgricultureBuildingsponsored by Alliant Energy.
