Castalia Dairy Earns Herdsman Award at Iowa State Fair

Lyons Holsteins of Castalia earned the Herdsman Award on Saturday at the conclusion of the dairy cattle show at the 2011 Iowa State Fair. The Herdsman Award recognizes the top exhibitors and ranks them based on the cleanliness of stalls, animals and aisles in the Boulevard of Dairy Breeds as well as the upkeep and sanitation of equipment over the course of the dairy shows.
