Carter Lake Woman Claims Honors in State Fair Counted Cross Stitch Competition

Kathy J. Davis of Carter Lake earned Best of Show honors in the Fabric and Threads Counted Cross Stitch contest, judged prior to the start of the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Sweepstakes honors were awarded to Liese VanderBroek of Webster City.
All Fabric and Threads entries will remain on display throughout the Fair on the upper level of the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building sponsored by Principal Financial Group open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
