Ayrshire Dairy Cattle Show Banners Awarded at the Iowa State Fair

Top dairies competed for honors in the Ayrshire Dairy Cattle show judged Saturday at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
The Grand Champion Female was shown by Onword Swiss of Oelwein. Old Bankston of Epworth earned the Reserve Grand Champion Female Banner and took home the Premier Exhibitor Award.
Ridge View Farm of Lancaster, Mo., earned the Premier Breeder Award as well as second place in the Premier Exhibitor Award.
Ronn-Ayr Farms of Earlville placed second in the Premier Breeder Award.
The Premier Breeder Award is given to the competitor who earns the most points for animals bred and exhibited by the entrant or others during the day’s show. The Premier Exhibitor Award is given to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points based upon the day’s placings.
