Ames Baker Captures Keebler Pie Crown at State Fair

Cathy Stahlman of Ames won first place in the Pies with Keebler Crusts competition judged Saturday at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.
Diane Rauh of Des Moines claimed second place, and Christine Montalvo of Windsor Heights earned third place.
Entries were judged on taste, appearance and best use of crusts.
The Iowa State Fair Food Department is the largest of any state fair in the country. Food Department judging is held in the recently-renovated Elwell Family Food Center sponsored by Blue Bunny.
